Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is looking for a passionate Business Development Representative for a full-service restoration company in Woodbury, MN. Business Development Representative Compensation and Benefits: * Base Salary $55,000 + DOE, plus uncapped commission * Company vehicle + Credit Card for work purposes * Health Benefits * Simple IRA with company match * Electronics provided * PTO and Paid Holidays We're seeking a candidate who can generate new prospects, cultivate client relationships, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role requires compassion while building strong connections with organizations and driving strategic growth. As a Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for meeting sales goals and implementing sales strategies within your assigned territory. You'll focus on generating and securing new revenue by prospecting and building a solid referral network. Business Development Representative Responsibilities: * Develop and implement an action plan to generate new business and build strong client relationships. * Maintain detailed records of sales routes and activities. * Conducted sales calls that led to scheduled meetings with target referral prospects. * Secure customer commitments that lead to referrals for disaster restoration services. * Achieve company sales targets and regularly update management on account status. * Uphold a professional, ethical, and positive image as a key company representative within the community. * Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports promptly. * Participate in weekly leadership meetings. * Regularly engage in client meetings, trade shows, networking events, conferences, etc. * Maintain an up-to-date customer contact database. * Deliver group presentations to prospective organizations. * Coordinate sales efforts with other marketing activities, including promotions, advertising, exhibitions, telemarketing, and social media marketing. Business Development Representative Requirements: * 3+ years of demonstrated success in a business development role, preferably in outside B2B sales. * Industry knowledge, or the willingness and ability to quickly acquire it if new to the field. * Results-oriented with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently multitasking and driving outcomes with a sense of urgency. * Proven track record in building and maintaining strong relationships with both team members and clients. * Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. * Self-motivated, reliable, confident, and well-organized. * Dependable, transparent, and trustworthy.
