Full description of the position

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Process customer orders on the trade counter or by phone
• Greet all customers entering the store or calling on the phone.
• Demonstrate a positive, friendly & helpful attitude with customers.
• Provide assistance to customers in selecting the correct items and quantities needed to generate cash or charge orders/sales.
• Pull or pick items from our warehouse inventory for customer pick up or delivery.
• Assist in loading materials at the Counter or Will-Call.
• Handle customer service issues with or without management assistance.
• Provide security for point of purchase products.
• Participate in product and customer service training.
• Daily Review of Company department emails and other communications.
• Assist Lighting Showroom in customer service or product knowledge. SKILLS:
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Product & Application knowledge.
• Proficiency in Math & data order entry.
• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
• Able to follow directions and obtain information with ease, while working in a fast pace environment. QUALIFICATIONS:
• Electrical product knowledge.
• Minimum of two years industry related experience.
• High School diploma/equivalency or higher.
• Physical ability to perform lifting tasks and standing on feet for extended periods. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
