American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are looking for the right person to join our team in a Counter Sales position at our Las Vegas Branch. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday on a 8am-5pm schedule. The Counter Sales Representative provides excellent customer service and HVAC solutions to ARS customers by meeting their needs to the best of their ability while demonstrating and maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.

• Establishes a maintains a positive rapport with customers by using positive verbal communication and providing prompt and courteous service.
• Conducts counter sales transactions, credit and cash goods for credit and complete warranty paperwork.
• Sells equipment, tools, parts, accessories, materials, and supplies to dealers, contractors, service firms and industrial accounts.
• Maintain, organize, and stock shelves. Maintain inventory control. Assist in organization of equipment and product displays. Ensure store area is kept sanitary and orderly.
• Recommend and promote related 'add-on' items to customers.
• Advise customers on substitution or modification of related items and products application information.
• Provide accurate price points from Company computer database.
• Receive and fill telephone and facsimile orders effectively.
• Consistent and timely follow-up with customers and sales consultants with accurate quotes and product information.
• Collaborate with outside sales consultants to provide timely feedback and notification of above average price quotes.
• Assist customers with loading of merchandise and other needs. Effectively work together with fellow CSR's to ensure continuity of customer service.
• Prepare items for shipping, communicate accurate delivery information, and complete paperwork for warranties as directed by Company Warranty Department.
• Attend branch meetings, technical training sessions and general Company meetings as requested. What we are looking for:

Requirements

:

• A minimum of 2 years HVAC industry experience in a high-volume HVAC wholesale environment is highly preferred but not required
• Previous experience in counter sales/customer service
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
