Job Title: Counter Sales Representatives Location: French Quarter, New Orleans About Us: Join the sweet experience of our award-winning, old-fashioned candy store, where every candy is handcrafted with care. We're looking for a warm and friendly Counter Associate who is passionate about quality and providing top- notch service to every customer who steps through our doors. Position Overview: As a Counter Associate, you'll be the face of our store, welcoming customers with a smile and ensuring they have a memorable experience. This role involves assisting customers, offering samples, restocking candy displays, and maintaining a clean, inviting space. The ideal candidate is a people person with an eye for detail, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to multitask with ease. Responsibilities: * Greet customers with a welcoming attitude and assist them with their candy selections. * Offer samples to customers, sharing product information and recommendations. * Stock shelves and maintain product displays, ensuring they're always appealing and well-organized. * Keep candy trays and the store clean, tidy, and well-presented. * Monitor candy quality, ensuring every piece meets our high standards. * Stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the store during your shift. * Communicate clearly with customers and team members to deliver a seamless experience. * Maintain energy and positivity in a busy retail environment. Qualifications: * Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required. * Friendly demeanor and a passion for working with the public. * Ability to stand on your feet, bend, and reach throughout your shift. * Strong multitasking skills and comfort in a fast-paced environment. * Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. * Excellent communication skills.
