Full description of the position

We are seeking a customer service focused individual to add to our growing sales department. The ideal candidate will focus on customer satisfaction and be passionate about sales and customer service and eager to learn more about fats, oils, dressings, and sauces! Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Communicate with customers and prospects by phone and email to provide information about products, take or enter orders, or obtain details of complaints * Check to ensure appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems * Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints or comments, as well as actions taken * Resolve customers' service or billing issues by performing activities such as exchanging products, providing refunds, or adjusting invoices * Perform other duties as assigned Preferred Experience and Skills * 2+ years of sales or customer service experience * Food industry experience a plus * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Intermediate math skills required * Experience with Microsoft Business Central or SAP a plus Benefits * BlueCross BlueShield of IL PPO and HMO * CIGNA Dental PPO and HMO * Company paid VSP vision, basic life and AD&D insurance * Paid time off and holidays * Additional voluntary life insurance and long-term disability available * 401k with 2% company match and 3% safe harbor yearly contribution Compensation Hourly rate based on experience.
