Full description of the position
GM / Director of Sales - On-Premise Location: Lindenwood University Campus, St. Louis, MO Nevco Sports Marketing, a division of Nevco Sports, LLC, is seeking an experienced and driven GM / Director of Sales to join our team on- premise at Lindenwood University. In close collaboration with Lindenwood University, this role focuses on building sponsorship revenue and connecting businesses of all sizes with the passionate and loyal collegiate sports fan base. If you're a motivated sales professional with a passion for sports and a proven track record in sponsorship sales, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities * Sales Performance: Meet and exceed assigned sales goals through the creation and sale of innovative sponsorship packages. * Client Relationships: Research and develop connections with local, regional, and national businesses to emphasize the value of investing in collegiate athletics. * Comprehensive Sales Process: Oversee all stages of the sales process, including prospecting, presenting, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and upselling/renewing current partners. * Account Management: Manage a book of business, ensuring long-lasting relationships with corporate partners and athletic department staff. * Event Engagement: Entertain clients and represent Nevco during various game-day events, including some evenings and weekends. * Industry Expertise: Stay informed about sports sponsorship trends, including traditional, non-traditional, and digital marketing platforms. * Perform other duties as required to drive business growth and maintain strong partnerships. Required Qualifications * At least 5 years of sales experience. * Ability to analyze client marketing needs and design integrated solutions. * Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Organizational skills to effectively manage multiple accounts and projects. Preferred Qualifications * Experience selling integrated sports marketing packages with major media elements, such as signage, radio, social media, and digital. * In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including social media, content marketing, retargeting, and performance analytics. * A Bachelor 's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
