Full description of the position

We are looking an experienced Leasing Agent to present and lease apartment homes to prospective lessors. The goal is scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones and achieve high occupancy rates. Responsibilities * Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants * Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials * Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospect customers * Confirm rental application data and personal references * Stay knowledgeable of the property market status * Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals * Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically Skills * Proven working experience as leasing agent or customer service/sales (minimum 2 years) * Working knowledge of leasing practices * Up to date with property market status * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Persuasive with marketing and sales skills * Customer service orientation * Detail-oriented Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Ability to Commute: * Austin, TX 78741 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Austin, TX 78741: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
