Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting property management operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position is perfect for individuals who have a keen interest in real estate and property management, and who possess strong organizational skills.

Duties

• Record income and expenses related to property operations in Yardi Systems, including rent payments, maintenance costs, and vendor bills
• Maintain accurate records of property activities and transactions using financial software.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and budgets as needed.
• Communicate with tenants regarding lease agreements, renewals, and other inquiries.
• Help organize marketing efforts for available properties to attract potential tenants.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to address property issues promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management or a related field is required.
• Proficiency in financial software is highly desirable to assist with record keeping and reporting. We just migrated to Yardi from Skyline.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with tenants and team members.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
