                Full description of the position
Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Manager to enhance the growth and management of our sales team. The Account Manager is crucial in sustaining and growing customer relationships, steering vendor initiatives, facilitating customer requests, and assisting in sourcing products based on the needs of our customers. This role serves as a subject matter expert on products and programs for the sales organization, with a focus on scaling accounts through various activities such as but not limited to, follow-ups on proposals, identifying new opportunities of product expansion, and enhancing customer relationships. Hard Skills: * Expertise in product knowledge and sales program execution. * Proficient in managing sales requests, tracking orders, and identifying sales opportunities. * Ability to conduct account research through analyzing data and metrics to assess and target potential growth opportunities. * Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for product expansion based off customer feedback and buying patterns. * Experienced in coordinating with finance and distribution teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely product delivery. * Proficient in prioritizing and managing customer inquiries and requests to ensure timely and effective responses. * Ability to handle high volumes of customer interactions and requests within an established timeframe. Soft Skills: * Strong relationship building and communication skills to maintain customer satisfaction. * Experienced in handling and solving complex customer issues and identifying potential challenges/complications. * Goal-oriented focus to meet and exceed assigned targets within deadlines. * Decision-making skills to execute transactional decisions that benefit overall account performance and profitability. Related Experience: * Experience in maintaining and expanding customer relationships and managing sales opportunities. * Proven track record in meeting sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. * Experienced in order processing, billing procedures, and logistics coordination. * Seasoned in handling customer engagements, with the capability to manage complex issues and make informed decisions.
