ChrisBro Hospitality is looking for a dynamic and energetic Director of Sales and Marketing team member primarily overseeing the Hampton Inn & Suites and Tru by Hilton Rapid City Rushmore. From time to time, the need to help support two additional properties may arise with multi-property group booking reservations. The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for the revenue generation to assist with budgeted top line revenue and RevPAR goals. This position will report to the Dual General Manager and Chief Operating Officer as well as oversee the sales team associated with the Rapid City market. Job Responsibilities: Ensure all quarterly and annual revenue and RevPAR goals are achieved for the hotels while taking ownership for financial profitability. Lead and direct the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives to include but not limited to: interacting with clients and the media, directing solicitation efforts internally and externally, securing business, preparing and presenting statistical and performance reports. Develop sales action plans and forecasts along with Corporate Director of Sales while evaluating trends to modify strategies that will enhance revenues effectively. Proven success in shifting market share in all segments. Understand how to read and dissect STR reports and understand how to use intel to drive market share penetration. Ensure hotel participation in all brand revenue management initiatives. Assist in the production of annual hotel business plan and top line revenue budgets. Work alongside Corporate Revenue Management team to maximize potential revenue. Ensure the hotels credit procedures and audit guidelines are followed. Timely submission of required reports to General Managers, Corporate Director of Revenue, COO and CEO. Ability to travel to business functions, conferences and/or trade shows will be required. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills: Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, and familiarity with brand specific property Management System(s). Familiarity with Hilton, Wyndham and Choice brands are a plus. Ability to exercise excellent communication, presentation, organization, time management and listening skills. Ability to use analytical skills for measuring business potential and value to the hotel. Ability to successfully interact with all levels of customers and hotel management. Education: Associates Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years hotel sales experience or the equivalent amount of industry experience; OR equivalent level of education and work experience. Licenses/Certifications: Possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive to customer appointments.
