Our website is SpousesRentingHouses.com We are looking for a Rental Operations Manager to help us oversee daily rental operations, tenant communications, and property management functions. Position Details: * FULL TIME Flexible schedule: 30-40 hours per week (evenings/weekends as needed) * 99% Remote (Work from home) - 5-6 times a month you will need to make a mail run to our PO Box in Indianapolis IN. * FULL TIME Hourly, Contract Position (No benefits) * Great opportunity to learn real estate investing! (Access to training resources) Key Responsibilities: Tenant & Property Management: * Oversee leasing, onboarding, move-outs, and evictions. * Manage maintenance requests and ensure timely resolutions. * Monitor and process resident payments (including non-electronic payments). * Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws. Communication & Coordination: * Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, landlords, vendors, and maintenance teams. * Send/respond to tenant and client inquiries promptly. * Advise property owners on rental strategies, occupant decisions, and maintenance needs. Financial & Compliance Oversight: * Work with accounting and billing teams for vendor payments and client charges. * Oversee utility management. * Assess risks related to rental applications. * Research local ordinances to ensure compliance. Process Management & Improvement: * Maintain and update company documents and templates. * Partner with local agencies and ensure adherence to local property laws. Qualifications & Skills: Experience in Property Management (preferred but not required) Familiarity with Buildium (a plus, but we will train you!)
