Salary: $19.20 - $19.20 Department: Culture & Recreation, Recreation Division: Aquatics FLSA: Non-Exempt Job Description: Summer Seasonal Position Must be 16 years old by hire date. This role will conduct point of sale transactions and provide customer service. Examples of Duties: * Computes or re-computes bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due. * Makes change, cashes checks, and issues receipts or tickets to customers. * Records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions. * Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand. * Quotes price and describes features of items for which money is received. * Gives cash refunds or issues credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise. * Operates cash register, compiles printed list, and displays cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen. * Performs other duties as assigned.
