Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health Coach to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to develop personalized care plans that promote overall health and well-being. Your expertise in health coaching will empower individuals to achieve their weight loss goals, improve their fitness levels, and adopt healthier lifestyles. You will play a crucial role in educating clients about nutrition, exercise, and behavioral health strategies, fostering a supportive environment that encourages positive change.

Duties

• Develop individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique health goals and needs.
• Provide guidance on weight loss strategies and nutritional choices to support clients' journey towards better health.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions in a gym or health club setting, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to inspire clients.
• Educate clients on the importance of physical activity, including yoga and other fitness modalities, to enhance their overall well-being.
• Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure continued success and motivation.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to provide comprehensive support for clients' behavioral health needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress towards goals.

Qualifications

• Certification in Health Coaching or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in developing care plans and providing weight loss guidance is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, exercise science, and behavioral health principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate clients effectively.
• Ability to work in a gym or health club environment, engaging with clients in person.
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques is a plus.
• A genuine passion for helping others achieve their health goals through coaching and support. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
