Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and expanding our market presence. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients. Responsibilities * Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. * Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and assess competitive landscape. * Engage in cold calling to generate leads and establish relationships with potential clients. * Work closely with the business owner in developing strategies and communication to drive new business opportunities. * Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness. * Work in a style that is detailed, organized and reliable. Requirements * Proven experience in outside sales or territory sales, preferably within the construction sector. * Strong account management skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. * Proficiency in CRM software for tracking sales activities and managing customer interactions. * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. * Demonstrated success in cold calling and lead generation strategies. * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. * A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team. * A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
