The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. This is an entry level role and could result in a sales opportunity within K-1 Packaging with excellent earning potential. Essential JOB DUTIES Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: * Identify and develop new clients and sales opportunities. * Initiate a meeting with prospective customers and ensure a smooth transition to the commercial team. * Establish and maintain a cadence of communication with prospective customers. * Introduce company's products and services to prospective customers. * Conduct plant tours for clients. * Promote the Company's products and services by attending trade shows. * Work with Project Coordinators to obtain necessary information from the customer regarding production and quotations. * Maintain prospective customer list in the CRM. * Sell Company's products and services to clients. * Partner with Project Coordinators to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner. The appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are achievable through the following combination of education, work experience and training: * Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. * Five (5) or more years of project management or related experience. * Any combination of experience, education, and training- that will provide the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.
