Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Jewelry Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting jewelry pieces, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the perfect jewelry items to meet their needs. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of various jewelry pieces. * Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of jewelry products. * Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance. * Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations. * Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and reporting discrepancies. * Promote sales through effective merchandising techniques and by maintaining knowledge of current promotions. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. * Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers and POS systems. * Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this is a valuable asset in serving diverse clientele. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. * A passion for jewelry and an understanding of current trends in the industry is a plus.
