: Familiar with construction and wood products? Conejo Hardwoods, a leading supplier of high-quality wood products, is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Associate for our lumber and decking division at our new location in Santa Barbara (opening summer 2025). This role is perfect for a personable, organized, and intelligent sales professional who excels in building relationships and delivering exceptional service. With a new location opening, this is a unique opportunity to join an established company in a new market, offering massive growth potential. We are a stable and reputable company specializing in wood products, and we are looking for a polished and ambitious individual eager to achieve outstanding sales results. Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year (dependent on qualifications)

Key Responsibilities

:

• Drive sales of lumber and decking products by providing proactive service to contractors, designers, architects, and homeowners.
• Provide outstanding service to both new and existing clients.
• Develop and nurture relationships with architects, designers, and contractors within the building materials industry.
• Discuss the unique features and benefits of wood products as building materials.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

:

• Comfortable with reaching out to potential customers.
• Strong knowledge of wood products as building materials.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Highly organized, professional, and composed demeanor.
• Ability to work extended hours, including Saturdays if necessary. Desired Traits:
• Strong connections within the building material industry, particularly in Santa Barbara.
• Experience in sales.
