Position Overview: Familiar with construction and wood products? Conejo Hardwoods, a leading supplier of high-quality wood products, is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Associate for our lumber and decking division at our new location in Santa Barbara (opening summer 2025). Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year (dependent on qualifications) Key Responsibilities: * Drive sales of lumber and decking products by providing proactive service to contractors, designers, architects, and homeowners. * Provide outstanding service to both new and existing clients. * Develop and nurture relationships with architects, designers, and contractors within the building materials industry. * Discuss the unique features and benefits of wood products as building materials. * Meet and exceed sales targets and goals. * Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Requirements: * Comfortable with reaching out to potential customers. * Strong knowledge of wood products as building materials. * Excellent communication and people skills. * Highly organized, professional, and composed demeanor. * Ability to work extended hours, including Saturdays if necessary. Desired Traits: * Strong connections within the building material industry, particularly in Santa Barbara. * Experience in sales.
