Senior Project Consultant/Sales - Home Improvement Services Tom Curren Companies (Newton, MA) an established and growing remodeling company is seeking talented people with previous outside sales experience who are passionate about home improvement that want to continue to develop top selling and business development skills learning from a very talented team of highly successful sales superstars along with one-on-one sales coaching to help close more business. You will be part of a successful group of talented individuals improving homes in some of the finest neighborhoods in the Boston area. Our Services Include: Kitchen, bath, and home remodeling, interior/exterior painting, cabinet painting, carpentry, windows, siding and doors. This means that your leads will be high quality prospects, which are often referrals from our existing client base. Over the past 38 years we have earned business from over 8,000 clients, many of whom consider us their "contractor" for any project needed in their homes. Position Overview: The Project Consultant is responsible for generating sales from warm and cold leads as well as providing estimates and securing new business. We are seeking sincerely motivated and reliable candidates looking for a unique opportunity in a small business that has been successful for over 38 years in the home improvement industry. Our personal development program is designed to give top candidates an opportunity to develop sales and business development skills while enhancing their communication skills, industry knowledge and familiarity with our company and our customers while making top dollar for their efforts. Our Project Consultants spend time with clients in their homes to determine their needs and educate them about Tom Curren Companies and how we differentiate ourselves from other "contractors. An ideal candidate would be a self-starter in trying to grow their clientele base, comfortable working with clients in their home, a problem solver, and most importantly, a team player. As a full-time sales representative, you will report to the VP of Sales. Duties and Responsibilities: * Conducting in-home consultations from leads. * Measure and quote kitchen, bath and remodeling projects with support from designers and estimators. * Follow a sales process to close residential clients by identifying clients' needs and providing solutions tailored to those needs. * Following the company's processes and CRM system for tracking the sales process. * Networking and building relationships with clients for future business and to maintain a professional company image. * Conduct regular job site visits to ensure customer satisfaction. * Maintain contact with customers in a timely and professional manner. * Verify customer satisfaction at the completion of the job. * Attend weekly Sales team meetings for coaching, training, mentoring opportunities with other successful sales team members and senior management with desire to commit to a defined sales process. * Represent our company and brand with professionalism and integrity. Qualifications: * Minimum of 3 years sales experience in the home improvement industry or similar experience. * Excellent computer skills - MS Office, email, database management, etc. * Able to pass a drug screening and background check. * Minimum 3 years kitchen/bath remodeling sales experience required. * Remodeling take-off preparation/estimation experience preferred. * Excellent, timely, courteous follow-up skills. * Interpersonal skills including listening, verbal and oral communication to allow for professional interaction with customers and vendors and maintain positive and effective working relationships with co-workers. * Professionalism to include dependability, accountability, punctuality, professional appearance, speech and behavior, and organizational skills. * Experience using a digital CRM system for tracking all sales-related activities.
