Description: Job Title : SWG Sales Representative Pay : variable based on experience (estimated $45K-$55K annual salary) Status : Full-time office exempt; hybrid/outside travel in NM required Schedule : Hybrid/Varying schedule. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the organization. This role has work both onsite at the New Mexico facility and traveling to different existing and prospective customers within the state on a weekly basis. ====================================================================== Southwest Greenhouse LLC/Agawa Cultivation grows high-quality cannabis for some of the largest dispensaries and manufacturers in New Mexico. At our greenhouse location in Estancia, NM, our teams grow and supply customers with a consistent supply of biomass for extraction processes on a weekly basis. We are a wholesale cannabis facility that sells custom plant material directly to other businesses within the New Mexico market. We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Cannabis Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with dispensaries, promoting our product line, and driving sales across your assigned territory. While there is a requirement to perform some tasks from the facility in Estancia, NM on a weekly basis, the schedule for this position varies based on the focus of our Manufacturing/Sales team. Travel for this position within the State of NM is required on a weekly basis, as a large portion of the position's functions will be either offsite or via a combination of telecommunication and in-person strategies. An ideal candidate thrives in a quick sales cycle environment and can recalibrate quickly with changing priorities. Because a key component of the job is to identify potential customers, working knowledge or experience interacting with different businesses within the cannabis industry is highly preferred. An ideal candidate also understands the entire sale cycle has strong communication skills to build rapport with potential customers as well as identify new opportunities with existing customers that are beneficial both for the customer and Agawa Cultivation. Training on-the-job is coordinated by the General Manager, however once trained the expectation is for this position to work independently with minimal supervision. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Lead Generation. Identify and create initial contact with new business opportunities. * Source new sales opportunities through internet research, existing contacts, follow-ups, and outbound cold/warm calling * Identify prospects, set up appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and document/report key information about new and existing customers. * Present and promote products or growing services to potential clients * Generate interest in our company, products, and services * Assist with closing sales and coordinate with internal departments to setup an account. Follow-up with new customers to ensure initial deliveries/pick-ups meet their expectations. * Conduct market research and network to stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and product knowledge. * Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with retail partners and dispensaries to ensure they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities. * Field questions and propose alternative products or solutions within the guidelines outlined by the General Manager. * Serve as a point of escalation for critical client issues and collaborate with the General Manager(s) to quickly resolve issues presented. Must respond to requests for information either internally or externally in a timely manner to reduce waiting times and disruptions to the business. * Present and promote products or growing services to potential clients. Represent the company's products and services and communicate effectively with both new and existing customers to understand the needs of their business and offer appropriate solutions. * Track activities performed and report the results of different sales efforts and/or marketing campaigns to the General Manager. It is required for this position to meet or exceed monthly personal lead generation and sales quota. In addition to the above responsibilities, the Sales Representative may be required to assist the sales teams with achieving goals, including database management, goal tracking, assisting with the development of sales and marketing materials, and other initiatives. This position may be required to assist with various projects as needed as assigned by the General Manager. Requirements: * Basic Minimum Requirements/Competencies * Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States * Must have a working knowledge or professional relations with cannabis or consumer product goods (CPG) industry or at least 2 years of experience working within the industry. * Must exemplify critical thinking and problem-solving skills during verbal interactions. Sales representatives must ask relevant questions to discern key variables during a conversation, and clearly communicate information about products, services, and requirements of the business with discretion. Experience/exemplified skills with negotiation, conflict resolution, or at least 2 years' experience/equivalent combination of experience and education in sales, customer services, public relations, account management or relevant field is required. * Must have excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills. This position requires a professional phone presence. * Must be able to hear and talk on a phone head/handset with or without reasonable accommodation. * Must have intermediate to advanced computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially including experience in Microsoft Excel.) Experience tracking and logging communication using Asuna or other sales tracking software or CRM is highly preferred. * Must maintain a positive and professional work atmosphere by acting and communicating with clients, managers, co-workers, and Greenhouse staff in a respectful and timely manner * All employees must follow the safety guidelines and procedures set by Tagawa Greenhouse Enterprises, use equipment and materials correctly for their intended purpose, and determine appropriate action for dealing with all situations that may arise. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and attend work at the Estancia facility daily. Mileage and travel expenses will be reimbursed per company policy. This position is contingent on a background check that reviews federal, state, county, sex-offender, and MVR records to ensure the candidate can fulfill requirements be placed on our offsite/Designated Driver list. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
