Overview

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance sales and a passion for helping clients find the best coverage options to meet their needs. As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for analyzing client requirements, communicating effectively, and negotiating terms with insurance providers. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the complexities of insurance products while ensuring compliance with regulations such as HIPAA.

Duties

• Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products that align with their requirements.
• Communicate clearly with clients to explain policy details, coverage options, and benefits.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance carriers to secure the best possible deals for clients.
• Manage sales administration tasks including maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
• Conduct telemarketing efforts to generate new leads and expand the client base.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
• Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and new insurance products to provide informed advice to clients.
• Assist in benefits administration by explaining group insurance plans to employers and employees.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable products.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to clients.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with insurance providers for favorable terms.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
• Experience in retail sales or telemarketing is advantageous but not required.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service excellence is essential.
• Relevant certifications or licenses in insurance sales are preferred at this time, but there are times at which Carothers is able to provide licensing.
