SALES TRAINEE FLSA Status: Non-exempt Acme Brick Company (a Berkshire Hathaway Company) is an organization of professionals in the manufacturing and building material distribution industry. We manufacture brick and distribute our own brick as well as brick and associated products manufactured by others. We operate in 13 states with a philosophy that we are much more than a brick manufacturer and distributor. Summary We are currently seeking a Sales Trainee with excellent organization skills and a personable disposition who will shadow Outside Sales Representatives to learn how to sell products for manufacturer or distributor to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, showroom, or customer's place of business. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with the punches, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You will be a strong and reliable support to company operations, maintaining procedures, communication and customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

(other duties may be assigned) This is a safety sensitive position.

• Train on product knowledge by working on the showroom floor with customers
• Shadow outside calls with seasoned sales representatives as they visit customers and promote our products
• Learn the sales administration by completing rotations in the sales office functions
• Gain a general understanding of manufacturing process in a plant environment
• Begin developing relationships with new and or existing customer base Skills and Experience Required for Success
