Full description of the position
Overview
The Director of Sales- National Accounts will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with high-value clients, driving strategic sales initiatives, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Job
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure long-term business success;
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within key accounts;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to align company capabilities with client expectations;
- Negotiate high-value contracts, pricing, and service agreements to drive revenue growth;
- Provide strategic account planning and forecasting based on sales data and market trends;
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to strengthen partnerships and expand the customer base;
- Monitor account performance, identify risks, and proactively implement corrective actions;
- Perform other required tasks as assigned. Job
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development;
- Proven track record of managing and growing high-value accounts;
- Experience calling on Sam's and developing relationships within their organization;
- Experience with replenishment processes and a strong understanding of how inventory management systems work to ensure product availability and supply chain efficiency;
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills;
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategic account plans;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Ability to travel monthly to Bentonville, Arkansas;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
