Duties * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized assistance. * Effectively sell products by utilizing upselling techniques and demonstrating product features. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to assist customers accurately. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently. * Handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Supervise and assist in training new employees, fostering a collaborative team environment. * Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively upsell products. * Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. * Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. * Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated. * Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
