Position Overview: In partnership with a reputable client, we are seeking a Commercial Construction Sales Representative with a significant, documentable track record of success in the metro NYC commercial construction market. What Our Client is Offering: * Competitive Compensation: A guaranteed base salary plus commission, with total earnings ranging from $90,000 to $280,000 per year. * Supportive Start: A financial cushion for the first 3 to 6 months as you acclimate to our client's complete product line and one-stop market approach, with the expectation that you will quickly exceed the base through exceptional performance. * Advancement Opportunities: With expansion on the horizon, the potential for growth is significant. * Work-Life Balance: You are in sales; you know what it takes -- if you are fulling in (no multi-company double-dipping) you set your own pace. Key Skills and Responsibilities: Sales Expertise: * Strong understanding of the sales process and proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. * Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Industry Knowledge: * Familiarity with the commercial construction market, including industry trends, competitors, and best practices. * Understanding of construction-related products. Relationship Building: * Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships. * Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and property managers. Negotiation Skills: * Exceptional negotiation and closing skills to secure deals and contracts. * Ability to handle objections and turn potential challenges into opportunities. Market Research: * Ability to conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of competitors. * Proficiency in analyzing market trends and adapting sales strategies accordingly. * Support media creation to build customer following and lead generation with Marketing team support. Communication: * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations. Project Management: * Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. * Attention to detail and ability to manage project timelines and budgets. Technical Proficiency: * Proficiency in using CRM software to manage client relationships and track sales activities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Problem-Solving: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and challenges. * Ability to develop creative solutions to meet client requirements. Adaptability: * Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client requirements. * Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry developments. Minimum Education: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Higher education in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance is a plus. Experience & Requirements: * A proven track record in sales within the commercial construction markets. * A quick learner with a passion for sales and delivering compelling presentations. * Strong marketing and negotiation skills. * Business to business experience required.
