Manufacturing and distribution company in east Tampa is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative with mechanical skills to join the team. Responsibilities: Sales & Customer Relations: * Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers within the assigned territory. * Identify and qualify leads, generate leads, and prospect for new business. * Understand customer needs and requirements for mechanical equipment. * Present and demonstrate product features and benefits, tailoring solutions to customer needs. * Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage the sales process. * Provide excellent customer service, including technical support, and follow-up after sales. * Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and efficiently Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge: * Demonstrate a understanding of basic mechanical principles and equipment. * Offer recommendations for equipment upgrades, replacements, or new installations based on customer needs. * Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, manufacturing) to ensure customer satisfaction.
