Full description of the position
Legal Services Sales Manager Location: New York, NY Our client is a leading global provider of court reporting, videography, videoconferencing, interpretation, and trial support services across the United States and internationally. We are driven by a team of dynamic and visionary entrepreneurs who are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join us in our growth journey. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing our sales team to achieve exceptional performance. You will play a key role in implementing targeted action plans, sales strategies, and continuous communication to enhance the productivity of our sales representatives. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales, with a dotted line to the Co- Founder and Managing Partner of the Company. * Manage and supervise the sales team, including Account Executives, by overseeing their activities and performance, and creating individual sales plans to drive revenue growth. * Ensure Account Executives are accountable for the quality and completeness of their account planning, while identifying opportunities for process optimization. * Lead the hiring, training, and performance management processes to ensure staff competency and the achievement of sales goals. * Guide team members in identifying new business opportunities and driving account growth. Provide ongoing feedback, guidance, and motivation to maximize their potential. * Monitor and manage pipeline health, quality, and quantity to minimize variances. Collaborate with the team to share best practices, insights, and available programs. * Encourage and enforce a deep understanding of clients' needs and priorities among the team, and hold them accountable for developing strong client relationships. * Conduct annual employee performance reviews and regular check-ins with individual Account Executives and the team as a whole. * Analyze performance data, make accurate forecasts, and work towards meeting planned sales goals. * Collaborate closely with Account Executives to assess their performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective strategies to enhance their success. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Business Administration, or related field. * Court reporting industry experience required. * Strongly preferred experience in the technology industry, specifically with Salesforce. * Minimum of five years of sales management experience. * Proven track record of successfully managing and directing a sales team of at least ten members. Fully Remote - Can live anywhere on East Coast Base salary: $150,000 - $175,000 (OTE $300,000+)Sterling St James LLC
