Job Description: We are seeking a Sales Engineer | Account Manager who will drive sales growth within our existing accounts while analyzing the market to help define new market strategies and product offerings. They will leverage excellent mechanical expertise by diving deep into concepts with integrity and enthusiasm to ensure our clients achieve their goals with our solutions. You have a track record of exceeding goals and are looking for a new challenge with a local family business who is poised for growth with uncapped commission potential. Key Responsibilities: * Account Management : Cultivate relationships and mine for new opportunities within our existing account base. * Business Development : Identify and pursue new opportunities within our target market (OEMs). * Technical Product Specialist : Support our team and customers as the primary technical specialist. Develop a deep understanding of our products. Stay curious and up-to-date with industry trends and market developments. Develop training programs for future salespeople. Qualifications: * Experience : At least 2 years of profession experience. Proven track record of success in sales, mechanical engineering, or a related field. * Skills: Excellent mechanical aptitude. Clear verbal and written communication skills (40-ish WPM). * Other: Integrity. Self-starter. Strategic and creative thinker. Enthusiasm and optimism. Flexibility and adaptability. A great question-asker! Good listener. A process for keeping organized. Calm under pressure. Efficient. Moves quickly. Follows through. Curious/continuous learner. Persistence without abrasiveness. Outgoing but introverts are more-than-welcome. * Software : Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel is a must. AutoCAD or SolidWorks knowledge a major plus. Epicor Prophet21 knowledge is a major plus The commission structure is designed so that she/he, if performing to plan, is making well over $100,000 by the start of year two, with potential to earn much more (uncapped). You will have full support of ownership to do whatever it takes to drive sales growth and achieve success.
