Description: State Fire is a trusted name in fire protection, keeping businesses and people safe across multiple states. We install and service fire alarms, suppression systems, security solutions, and more. Right now, we're looking for a Fire Extinguisher/Hood Suppression Technician to join our team. Experience is great, but not required--we provide full training. If you're willing to learn, we're willing to teach! What You 'll Do * Inspect, service, and repair commercial kitchen fire suppression systems. * Perform annual testing and maintenance of fire extinguishers. * Inspect and maintain emergency and exit lighting. * Complete inspection reports and daily paperwork using a company-provided iPad. * Service existing clientele and build new relationships to grow the customer base. Requirements: What You Need * Ability to use hand and power tools. * Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently. * Strong communication skills in English--both written and verbal. * Valid driver 's license and acceptable driving record. * Ability to pass a background check and drug test. * Willingness to work occasional overtime and travel overnight when needed. Physical Requirements * Work on ladders, scaffolding, and stairs. * Lift and carry up to 70 lbs. without assistance. * Work indoors and outdoors in various conditions.
