Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting them with their plumbing needs. Your expertise in plumbing service will help guide customers in selecting the right products and getting them the correct parts. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding plumbing parts and services. * Utilize your knowledge of plumbing to provide accurate recommendations. * Maintain an organized stock of plumbing products, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and displays are appealing. * Operate cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately while maintaining a high level of customer service. * Communicate effectively with customers, both in-person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. * Assist in managing inventory using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary. * Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Requirements * Strong knowledge of plumbing installation and parts is preferred. * Experience in sales is a plus but not required. * Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with customers effectively. * Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
