Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their shopping needs. You will engage with customers, promote products, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Your ability to upsell and demonstrate products will contribute to the overall success of our retail operations. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. * Utilize basic math skills for transactions and cash register operations. * Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. * Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise and ensuring shelves are well-stocked. * Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support during shifts. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy. * Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the store environment. * Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. * Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. * Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
