ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Membership Advisor at Gym U , you're not just selling a membership -- you're introducing people to a lifestyle and a community. You know our club inside and out and are excited to share what makes Gym U stand out: immersive lighting, high- performance training, and a vibe that's anything but ordinary. You'll work closely with the Sales Manager and leadership team to grow our membership and personal training base, host exciting in-club events, and ensure every guest who walks in feels welcomed and inspired. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Drive new and renewal membership and personal training sales and promote Gym U's services and experiences * Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through outreach, referrals, and club events * Host tours and onboarding experiences that reflect the unique energy of Gym U * Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to team success * Collaborate with the Front Desk and Personal Training teams to create seamless guest and members journeys * Build and maintain relationships with prospects and current members to encourage retention, referrals and personal training * Participate in club activities and stay up-to-date with all offerings (PT, classes, special events, etc.) * Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to support the smooth and effective operation of the department. QUALIFICATIONS: * Sales experience preferred, especially in fitness or lifestyle industries * Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a love for hustle * Strong communication skills -- both written and verbal * Approachable, energetic, and genuinely passionate about fitness and people * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Team player with a positive attitude * Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays , and the last 4 days of each month * Able to commit to a full-time schedule (minimum 40 hours per week) PERKS & COMPENSATION: * Commission and bonuses -- potential to earn $80,000+ based on performance * Complimentary Gym U membership * Exclusive staff discounts on services (personal training, retail, etc.) * Be part of a high-energy, cutting-edge fitness environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off Compensation Package: * Bonus opportunities * Commission pay * Monthly bonus Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Experience: * Membership Sales: 5 years (Required) Ability to Commute: * New York, NY 10011 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * New York, NY 10011: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
