About Us: We are a fast-growing boutique law firm providing personalized legal services across a range of practice areas, including healthcare, corporate, and regulatory law. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our team on a part-time 1099 (independent contractor) basis. This role is ideal for a marketing professional or business development consultant with experience in the legal industry who thrives in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities: * Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase firm visibility and generate qualified leads * Manage and grow the firm's online presence, including website content, LinkedIn, and other professional platforms * Draft and distribute newsletters, client alerts, and marketing materials * Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including partnerships, speaking engagements, and networking events * Track KPIs and performance metrics; provide monthly reports on growth and ROI * Assist in proposal preparation, presentations, and RFP responses * Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., designers, web developers) as needed Qualifications: * 3+ years of marketing or business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting * Familiarity with legal industry trends, compliance considerations, and ethical advertising rules * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, WordPress, LinkedIn, Google Analytics) * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (JD is a plus but not required) Compensation: * Competitive hourly rate or project-based pay (commensurate with experience) * Flexible schedule * Opportunity to grow with the firm over time To Apply: Please submit your resume, a brief cover letter, and any relevant marketing portfolio materials or writing samples.
