Job Summary
: As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, validating, and engaging potential leads. Your primary focus will be on outbound prospecting-making cold calls, sending cold emails, and setting up product demos for our sales team. This is a junior-level position, ideal for someone eager to build a career in sales and develop key skills in customer engagement, lead qualification, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Research and validate lead information to ensure accurate prospect data.
- Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Qualify leads based on specific criteria to determine potential fit.
- Set up appointments and product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Maintain and update the CRM with accurate lead and prospect data.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies.
- Follow up with leads to nurture and move them through the sales funnel.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly outreach and appointment-setting targets.
Qualifications
& Skills:
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (entry-level candidates welcome).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A self-starter with a proactive and persistent approach to outreach.
- Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new sales techniques and tools.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
