Job Overview Rocky Top Woodworks is the fastest growing small business in the trade show, street fairs, craft show, and market environment. We cover most major events in the metro Detroit area. We're looking for motivated sales people who enjoy the fast paced environment and live speaking to 100s of new people on a daily basis. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored options will be essential in achieving sales targets. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Utilize POS systems efficiently to process transactions accurately. * Apply retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management. * Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales environment. * Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive work environment. * Assist in training new employees on sales techniques and product knowledge. Experience * Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with basic math concepts is essential for handling transactions and inventory. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions. * Experience with supervising or mentoring staff is a plus, contributing to team development. * A strong understanding of stock management practices will be beneficial in maintaining inventory accuracy.
