Elite Educators Insurance Agency Job Title: Insurance Service Representative Location: Metro Detroit Area, Michigan Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Reports to: Agency Owner / Insurance Agency Manager Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Insurance Service Representative to join our dynamic team in the Metro Detroit Area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, assisting clients with their inquiries, and supporting the insurance sales team. This role focuses on client interactions, policy support, and administrative tasks, ensuring a seamless experience for our valued customers. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Client Support: * Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing professional and friendly assistance via phone, email, and in-person interactions. * Address customer inquiries regarding policies, billing, claims, and general insurance-related questions. * Assist clients with policy updates, renewals, and document requests. * Provide follow-up communication to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Administrative & Office Support: * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, policy changes, and other relevant information in the agency's system. * Process policy documentation, endorsements, and billing transactions as needed. * Support insurance agents by preparing quotes, scheduling appointments, and managing client records. * Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups. Team Collaboration & Growth: * Work closely with insurance agents and agency leadership to ensure smooth daily operations. * Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on agency policies and industry best practices. * Contribute to a positive and productive work environment through teamwork and strong communication skills. Qualifications:Education: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * College coursework in business, finance, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience: * 1-2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related field preferred. * Experience in insurance, financial services, or a similar industry is a plus but not required. Skills: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. * Ability to handle customer inquiries with professionalism, patience, and problem-solving skills. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Comfortable with technology and learning new software tools. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience in an insurance agency, customer service center, or financial services environment.
