Optician or sales associate starting a new optical eyewear department in a thriving Optometry office. Description As an optician/optical sales associate at Ashland Family Eyecare, your primary role will be consulting with patients to sell, fit, repair, adjust and dispense glasses. Working as a team with the doctor and optometric assistants we provide the highest quality of patient care. With the expansion of our office to include a new optical store, you will play a key role in driving our eyewear selection and growing this part of the business. You will work as a team player with the doctor and optometric assistants to ensure a seamless patient experience. As the business grows, there will be opportunities for bonuses based on sales performance and overall team success. This is a part-time position, three days a week, with potential for growth in the future. Pay is based on experience, and optical sales experience is required. A licensed optician is preferred but not required. Please be aware that this position may also include administrative duties related to the optical store, such as inventory management and ordering new products. Salary $25 - $37 per hour
