Technical Account Manager TDK Corporation of America - San Diego Metropolitan Area TDK Corporation of America is looking for a Technical Account Manager in ourSan Diego, CA office. You will join the global TDK family that employs over 129,000 employees at 250 sites for R&D, manufacturing and sales in over 30 countries. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the passive component design-in cycle into semiconductor partners' reference designs and RF module opportunities. Responsibilities * Proactively drive all aspects of the passive component design-in cycle including customer relationship, product promotion, design-in, sales harvesting, price negotiation etc. * Promote TDK passive components for use in IC reference designs and 4G / 5G RF Front End (RFFE) modules such as PAMiF, PAMiD, and FEMiD modules * Create worldwide customer account map including regional responsibilities, key contacts and project design-in status * Establish and maintain strong working relationships across the customer account including component engineering, product management and sourcing / procurement * Coordinate with TDK's worldwide sales and product marketing teams to drive design-in activities in their respective regions * Identify new design-in opportunities and provide feedback to HQ development teams around technology trends and market opportunities * Regular communication of account status with various internal stakeholders, including leadership and business units in Japan * Responsible for leading price negotiations (with support from the business unit), setting financial forecasts* _,_* and establishing internal budgets pertaining to the account Education : Bachelor's Degree (four year college/university). Field of study: Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred. Requirements : 5-10 years of experience in the passive component or semiconductor industry, preferred. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. Travel 5-10%.
