Grass Roots Restaurant Marketing/Business Development Position We own three Jersey Mike's franchises in Sacramento and we plan to continue to expand in the near future. We are seeking a part-time Marketing/Business Development Manager to help us increase in-store sales, catering sales and local brand awareness. The position will entail grass roots sales/marketing working directly with local business, schools and non-profit organizations, as well as consumers, to create awareness and increase sales of our Jersey Mike's food products. This an opportunity to earn a significant bonus as you drive sales growth! Responsibilities include: * Developing a rolling 3 month sales/marketing plan * Visiting local businesses to build catering sales and regular catering clients * Working directly with local schools, non-profit organizations to establish win-win programs to drive in-store sales * Participating in community events that promote our Jersey Mike's restaurants * In-store promotion of catering and holiday/event specials * Grass roots marketing, including distribution of door hangers, flyers and introductory discount coupons What we are looking for: * Experience in event marketing, brand promotion, or retail/food and beverage * Connected to and knowledgeable of the Sacramento community * Interact in a friendly, enthusiastic, energetic, and outgoing manner with clients and consumers in any setting * Ability to meticulously plan and execute against the plan - Excellent organization skills - use of spreadsheets, visit logs, planning calendar * Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Sacramento * Ability to work occasional weekend hours to participate in local events Compensation * $22/hour plus generous bonus program based on revenue generation * 15-20 hours per week * Perfect for someone who wants to work during mid-day hours (9am-2pm) About Jersey Mike's - Jersey Mike's, home of the \Sub Above\ was listed as the fastest growing restaurant in Restaurant News.
