Full description of the position

AD1 Global is a growing and successful hotel management company that is looking to hire a Sales Manager for their Hollywood, Florida property, The Harrison Hotel The Sales Manager serves as the hotel representative to prospective clients and customers who will need guest rooms, meeting rooms, function space and hotel services. The Sales Manager primarily identifies, qualifies, and solicits new business to achieve hotel revenue goals. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop new strategies and uncover new business to generate sales. * Close the best opportunities for the hotel on market conditions and hotel needs * Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in order to produce group and/ or convention business. * Monitor hotel's position within assigned market(s), recommend changes as necessary. * Maintain an understanding of the overall market(s), including competitor's strength/weakness, economic trends, supply and demand, etc. * Represent hotels at the trade shows and city-wide conventions as dictated by the hotel needs. * Prepare internal and external correspondences, i.e. contracts, proposals, group resumes, event orders and rooming as needed. * Establish client base of organizations, associations, social, and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales effort for the purpose of securing business for the hotel to ensure that predetermined sales expectations are met or exceeded. * Assists the Sales leadership team with the implementation and achievement of the Sales Marketing plan. * Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. ACCOUNTABILITY: The Sales Manager primarily identifies, qualifies, and solicits new business to achieve hotel revenue goals. This position reports to the Regional Director of Sales and Area General Manager. Qualifications and Requirements: * A minimum of two years' work experience in sales field. * Must be able to travel in town, in state and out of state. If using own vehicle or renting vehicles, must have valid driver's license with clear background. * Fluent English, bilingual preferred. * Experience in Sales Pro preferred. Skills: * Interpersonal skills. * Sales/ negotiating abilities. * Attention to detail. * Microsoft Office. * Planning and organizational abilities. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
