Chief's Treats and Pet Supplies is a local family-owned business looking to expand our reach from being an e-commerce only business to having a retail location. We are looking to hire 1 to 2 qualified individuals for a part-time seasonal position to work our RMU cart located at the center of Crocker Park in Westlake Ohio. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a temporary seasonal position! Employment will be from 5/23/25 through 9/1/25, with the possibility to extend through September. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues will be key to ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This job will require you to be outside for the entirety of your shift. There will be overhead cover; however, you will be responsible for dressing appropriately not only for work but for the weather. Duties * Greet and assist customers in a friendly, welcoming manner. * Answer questions about products (treats, toys, food, supplies) and make personalized recommendations based on pet needs. * Assist customers with order processing, returns, and exchanges. * Handle sales transactions at the register including cash, credit card, and mobile payments. * Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records in our computerized system. * Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. * Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. * Collaborate with team members to enhance overall customer experience. * Uphold company policies while ensuring compliance with quality standards. * Restock shelves and ensure product displays are clean, organized, and fully stocked. * Track inventory needs by noticing low-stock items and communicating with management. * Assist with merchandising, including setting up promotional displays and signage. * Promote loyalty programs, sales, and upcoming events to customers. * Ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and their pets. * Engage with customers' pets kindly and confidently. * Support social media efforts by encouraging customers to share experiences or by capturing customer moments. Requirements * Previous experience in customer support or sales is preferred. * Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential. * Ability to analyze situations effectively and provide solutions promptly. * A friendly demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction. * Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
