Full description of the position

Are you a driven, motivated sales professional with a passion for innovation and technology? Youngblood Automation, a division of H&P Technologies, is seeking an experienced Robotic and Vision professional to drive growth and manage a portion of our vast product and solutions business as Product Manager. As Product Manager you will be expected to maintain a strong knowledge of products and industry applications. You should understand the requirements of selling to various customer types, from end users to OEMs, and have experience in robotic and vision application sales and support. You will manage a broad portfolio of robotic and vision products and related vendor relationships. As Product Manager, you will play a fundamental role in identifying gaps in product or application capability and present continuous improvement strategies to address these needs. You also will work with our sales team, assisting them on customer calls to secure new business; coordinate pricing strategy, sales and market planning and forecasting; plan new business growth opportunities; and provide product and application training to our inside sales personnel. Responsibilities * Promote and sell products, systems and services by working on new and existing sales opportunities. * Identify, define, develop, and recommend appropriate products and services for customer applications. * Identify, research, and contact prospective target growth customers that will generate future sales and repeat business. * Build relationships across all levels within existing accounts and prospective target accounts to generate new business opportunities. * Develop, document, and communicate market intelligence to Regional Sales Manager, Sales Director and Vendor Partners. * Ensure timely flow of quotations to maximize our opportunity to win the order. * Meet and review sales efforts with Regional Sales Manager on a regular basis. * Establish timely strategic sales visits, customer action plans, and activities to meet sales and profit targets. *Background & Experience * 7 or more years of outside sales experience in technical sales or related field. * Experience in the industry, including an understanding of equipment and field applications, is strongly preferred. * Proven experience in sales planning, selling, and presenting the value proposition to various levels of customers. * Ambitious, driven, persistent and confident in own ability to achieve targets. * Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. * Good understanding of management practices and techniques. * Experience leading cross-functional teams. * Ability to use critical thinking, logic, and reason to identify solutions or approaches to a problem.
