Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their purchases. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all visitors. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. * Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are well-displayed and easily accessible. * Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise. * Assist in supervising junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment. * Utilize basic math skills to manage transactions and assist customers with returns or exchanges. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. * Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus but not mandatory. * Experience in product demonstrations is advantageous for enhancing customer engagement.
