Job Brief We are searching for a motivated Residential Roofing Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The Roofing Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting site inspections, providing clients with roofing product presentations, and closing sales. Candidates should have proven sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain client relationships. Knowledge of the roofing industry is a major plus. The successful candidate will ultimately generate revenue by making sales, which leads to satisfied customers. This is an outside direct sales position.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
• Actively pursue residential restoration roofing sales in neighborhoods damaged by storms.
• Monitor market conditions and competitor products.
• Provide clients with roofing presentations and conduct site inspections.
• Diagnose damages or needed repairs.
• Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses.
• Emphasize appropriate product selection based on product features, analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
• Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
• Meet or exceed sales targets.
• Direct customer communication throughout the claim and roofing process.
• Communicate with vendors and sub-contractors.
• Project Management - Job Nimbus software experience preferred.
• Maintain customer records, using automated systems.
• Report to management with sales trends and customer needs.
• Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction post-sale.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify new prospects.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a sales representative, preferably in the roofing industry
• Excellent knowledge of roofing systems and materials
• Strong negotiation and selling skills
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Valid Driver's License
• High school diploma
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration or relevant field is preferred

Work Environment

Pay Range
