Job Title: Inside Salesperson - Steel Fabrication Location: Buffalo, NY Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Manufacturing / Steel Fabrication Company Overview: We are a well-established and fast-growing steel fabrication company committed to delivering high-quality custom steel products and outstanding customer service. With a strong reputation in the industry and a focus on long-term partnerships, we're looking for an experienced Inside Salesperson to join our team. Position Summary: The Inside Salesperson will be responsible for managing incoming sales inquiries, maintaining customer relationships, providing accurate quotes, and collaborating closely with our production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in steel fabrication or a related industrial field and a strong track record in inside sales or customer service. Key Responsibilities: * Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person * Prepare accurate and timely quotes based on customer specifications and drawings * Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements * Follow up on quotes and convert leads into orders * Coordinate with production to ensure feasibility and timeline of orders * Maintain CRM system with customer data and sales activity * Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships * Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics Requirements: * Minimum 3 years of experience in inside sales within the steel fabrication or metal manufacturing industry * Strong knowledge of steel products, fabrication processes, and material specifications * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities * Team-oriented with a proactive, customer-focused attitude Preferred Qualifications: * Technical or engineering background is a plus * Experience with ERP systems * Familiarity with CAD software is a bonus Benefits: * Competitive salary plus commission/bonus opportunities * Health insurance * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for growth and advancement Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $70,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Disability insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities Work Location: In person
