Full description of the position
Job Summary The Senior Account Manager is the backbone of our ability to deliver mobile wound care in an LTC setting. As part of the clinical team, this individual will work closely with the business development team to ensure that the partner facility is successfully onboarded, that the relationship is positively managed, and the contract is fulfilled. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing the contracts between Mendota Health and the Long- Term Care facilities. Responsibilities Implementing New Accounts Owning client relationships from completed sale through successful implementation. Partnering with clients on their implementation goals, objectives, and program setup. Managing the contract partnering with clients throughout the entire onboarding/implementation process. Holding status update meetings with the client and representatives from stakeholder groups that are involved in the implementations and as needed after implementation. Providing clinical expectations during onboarding and throughout the relationship. Partner with Operations Team to successfully implement EHR access and integrations. Championing project management by coordinating with internal groups as well as the client to ensure timelines are met, issues are communicated, and questions are answered. Resolving issues and escalating issues according to Mendota Health's protocols. Creating, managing, and updating project plans to ensure implementations are on track for milestone achievements. Coordinate any gap resolutions. Ensure frequent contact with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings when possible. Business Development Identify opportunities for additional services and communicate with the internal business development team. Maintain relationships ensuring all Mendota Health wound care services are accessible to all patients. Account Management Attending in-person meetings with accounts as needed. Conduct regular site visits to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement. Act as the first escalation point for assigned LTC facility partners. Coordinating communication between facility staff and internal departments as needed. Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with facility administrators, DONs, and care teams, ensuring client satisfaction with Mendota Health. Responsibility owning relationships that directly impact company goals and metrics. Maintains working relationships with internal teams, including PAR team, business development, Operations and Clinical. Fulfillment of contract obligations - manage all aspects of contract fulfillment, including tracking for contract renewal dates. Optimization of internal resources. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience Licensed RN or LPN 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, program management, or equivalent area Client-facing relationship management experience Ability to travel as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong Customer Service focus including experience in balancing the needs of internal and external clients Clinical knowledge and understanding Experience working within EMR Previously Long-Term Care or Health Care experience strongly preferred A passion for improving healthcare delivery Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset Comfort with data-driven reporting and performance metrics Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments Knowledge of healthcare compliance and LTC regulations preferred Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Must possess leadership, problem-solving, time-management, planning, and project-management skills Experience managing professional services contracts Influencing others/relationship building Thorough knowledge of assigned business line or functional area Demonstrated management and leadership skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Advanced knowledge of project management Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data Excellent verbal and written communication skills Mendota Health Expectations Will need to travel to facilities for in person meetings.
