We Are Now Hiring for a 2nd Shift Inside Parts Sales Associates! Job Description * Valley Truck Centers is looking for Parts Counterman for our Parma, OH Branch. Leadership, problem solving and customer services skills are required. * We sell all-makes Parts in addition to our brand-specific proprietary lines of Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit, Cummins, Allison, Bendix, Meritor, Eaton-Fuller, Comprising over 100 different lines! * Prior industry experience is preferred but not required. * If you have a high level of energy and a drive to sell and service current and prospective customers, we want to hire you! Duties and Responsibilities * Assist customers in selecting the required parts they may need. * Provide the customer with cost and availability of the parts. * Advise customers when the product is out of stock. * Follow up on all orders. * Pull parts out of inventory. * Participate in training programs available to keep up on new products and product updates. * Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service. Education and/or work experience requirements * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * CDK experience a plus, but will train the right individual. * Prior parts sales a plus. * Basic computer skills. * Familiar with the following: o DTNA o Excelerator o Cat o Cummins Salary Position: $45,000 and up plus a monthly commission.
