Job Overview We are seeking a talented Designer with a passion for custom cabinetry and client-focused sales. In this role, you will collaborate directly with clients to design and sell bespoke cabinetry solutions tailored to their style and functional needs. Our shop specializes in luxury homes, remodels, spec homes, commercial projects, and more, known for our meticulous craftsmanship, attention to detail, and outstanding communication. From generating leads to delivering personalized designs, you'll play a key role in creating spaces that enhance clients' lives. With access to top-tier design software and the support of an experienced production team, you'll turn your concepts into reality with precision and quality. This commission-based opportunity is perfect for a motivated designer looking to create exceptional spaces and build lasting client relationships. Responsibilities * Conduct outside sales by sourcing new leads, networking, and maintaining client outreach. * Provide timely, clear communication with clients and contractors for a seamless project experience. * Develop detailed plans and 3D color renderings to help clients visualize their projects. * Collaborate with clients to understand their design vision, budget, and specific needs. * Present custom cabinetry designs tailored to each space's unique requirements. * Guide clients through the sales process, ensuring informed and confident decision-making. * Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are executed to the highest standard. Experience and Qualifications * Proven experience in cabinetry design, kitchen and bath design, interior design, or a related field, with a strong portfolio. * Sales experience with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships while closing sales. * Proficiency in design software (Mozaik, SketchUp, Cabinet Vision, and/or AutoCAD preferred). * Strong communication skills to effectively guide clients and understand their goals. * A creative eye, attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering quality work. Compensation and Structure This is a commission-based role with no earnings cap, ideal for self-motivated individuals who excel in creative challenges and value client satisfaction. Note: This is a commission-only position. You will work as an independent subcontractor.
