We are seeking an inside sales associate to add to our current team who can perform * quoting for existing customers * maintaining and fostering customers relationships * new customer acquisition * other sales and profit generation This position will require the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of customers utilizing both written and verbal communication. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is a must. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who thrives in a flexible work environment that requires consistent attention to detail. This job requires a person that is comfortable talking on the phone or writing emails to customers and plant personnel. We are looking for someone that wants to become a key part of a Veteran & family-owned, growing business. Core responsibilities : * Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads. * Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities. * Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email. * Keeping up with product and service information and updates. * Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers. * Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services. * Staying informed about competing products and services. * Upselling products and services. * Researching and qualifying new leads. * Closing sales and achieving sales targets. * Ability to cross train to cover other roles in our dynamic company * Other duties as assigned by the manager Required Skills & Experience * High School diploma required * Must be fluent in Excel, Outlook calendar, and Microsoft Word * Must have excellent customer service mindset and superb communication skills (written, oral, and electronic) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: * Health insurance * Paid time off Shift: * Day shift Work Location: Hybrid remote in Beaufort, NC 28516
