About Us: Diny's Jewelers is a local, family-owned fine jewelry store established, April 15, 1983. Specializing in fine jewelry sales, repair, custom jewelry, appraisals and much more. We are a fun and exciting, team driven place to work in the world of retail sales! In this position you will learn all about jewelry and the people who love it as well as how to sell it. It is important that you bring a positive attitude, well-dressed and desire to learn to work each day. We are looking for a Fine Jewelry Consultant, must have an Awesome positive attitude! Customer service abilities and some marketing talents are desired. Along with understanding of basic office knowledge. We provide education on product knowledge, experience in jewelry is not necessary. A desire to be a personal shopper!! Work schedule: - 30 - 40 hours a week - Approximately store hours with some time to open and close Requirements: - Great people skills and communication skills are a must. - Be presentable with confidence, self-esteem and personality - Basic computer knowledge; typing skills, Word, and Excel - Willingness to help anywhere needed - Reliable, positive, team player with the willingness and desire to learn - 2 years customer service experience Various Responsibilities include: - Working with customers to determine their needs and recommend products or services based on those needs. - Be on the sales floor to assist customer service - Ambitious about events and projects - Create emails with Constant Contact marketing, approximately 2/month - Inspect and clean customer's and stock jewelry - Take in repairs & Make job trackers - Enter data into POS - Contact clients on updates about job status via text, call, email - Handle POS (point of sale) transactions - Review job trackers; repairs, custom, orders and layaways - Answer the phone when needed - Help display jewelry - Maintain clean and organized environment - Be involved in and assist with company projects and events Benefits: - Business casual and fun team atmosphere - Team Bonuses (paid based on position) - Hands on training - Jewelry knowledge and education - GIA courses, paid for by Diny's upon completion - CAD training - Great employee discount - encouraged to wear fine jewelry - No late-night hours, no Sundays or typical retail hours, very flexible hours!
