For more information, visit [please apply online] The Counter Sales position provides excellent service to customers primarily via counter sales, and phone, email / online, scanner, and fax communication. The Counter Sales position provides branch operations assistance through merchandising by stocking, picking, pulling, and on time will call assistance. Additionally, the position provides support and information on product inquiry as well as damaged goods, product sold, or product returned. The position effectively utilizes its resources as it relates to company computer systems, online tools, and facility inventory. We are currently seeking a Counter Sales associate to support our Southborough, MA branch. This role is conveniently located at 150 Cordaville Rd # 130, Southborough, MA 01772. What you'll be doing: * Completes assigned training successfully and applies learnings as needed and directed * Performs general warehouse work as directed, including working in any and all departments within the branch * Promotes a safe work environment by quickly addressing unsafe conditions such as damaged product, clutter, cleanliness of work area, and clears customer passage * Effectively communicates with management upon arrival and departure for the day, at breaks, and at meal periods including any periods at which they will not be at their work station * Wears proper safety equipment and gear performing proper safety inspections on material handling equipment * Conducts aisle responsibilities as assigned * Conducts timely and frequent queue checks throughout the day, responding in a timely and effective manner Preferred Job Requirements * High School diploma or its GED equivalent and some college in business, sales, or related field * 3 or more years' experience with customer service and related functions. * 1 or more years HVAC experience Minimum Job Requirements * High School or its GED equivalent * 2 or more years' experience with customer service and related functions. * Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis. * Use computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems and meeting and virtual platform sharing relative to the needs of the job. * Minimum keyboarding skills of 40 words per minute What's*in it for you? * Health care (medical, dental, vision, prescription) available the first day of hire! * 401k with company contribution * Life insurance plus short-term and long-term disability * HSA/FSA options * Paid vacations, holidays, and personal time * Employee Assistance Program * Employee discounts * And much more!
